download_caffeine(load=True)

Download the caffeine molecule.

Added in version 0.44.0.

Parameters:

loadbool, default: True

Load the dataset after downloading it when True. Set this to False and only the filename will be returned.

Returns:

pyvista.PolyData | str

DataSet or filename depending on load.

Examples

>>> import pyvista as pv
>>> from pyvista import examples
>>> filename = examples.download_caffeine(load=False)
>>> reader = pv.get_reader(filename)
>>> poly = reader.read()

Add atoms and bonds to the plotter.
