Return the surface indices of a grid.

Changed in version 0.47: The underlying algorithm used to compute surface indices has changed. vtkGeometryFilter is now used, previously it was vtkDataSetSurfaceFilter.

Parameters:

progress_barbool, default: False

Display a progress bar to indicate progress.

Returns:

numpy.ndarray

Indices of the surface points.
