DataSetFilters.outline_corners( *, factor: float = 0.2, progress_bar: bool = False, ) → PolyData[source]#

Produce an outline of the corners for the input dataset.

Parameters:

factorfloat, default: 0.2: Controls the relative size of the corners to the length of the corresponding bounds.
progress_barbool, default: False: Display a progress bar to indicate progress.

Returns:

Generate and plot the corners of a sphere. This is effectively the (x, y, z) bounds of the mesh.

>>> corners = sphere.outline_corners(factor=0.1)
>>> pv.plot([sphere, corners], line_width=5)
