MultiBlock.is_nested

property MultiBlock.is_nested: bool

Return True if any blocks are a MultiBlock.

Added in version 0.45.

Create a simple MultiBlock:

>>> import pyvista as pv
>>> multi = pv.MultiBlock([pv.Sphere()])

It only contains a DataSet, so it is not nested.

>>> multi.is_nested
False

Nest it inside another MultiBlock.

>>> nested = pv.MultiBlock([multi])
>>> nested.is_nested
True
